I'm Shayla Dzuro, 22 years old and I am licensed in Esthetics and Cosmetic Application. Also certified in MUD Cosmetics. I graduated from North Hills Beauty Academy, and currently am employed at Dolce Designs by Dana, in Aliquippa, PA.

 

So how did I get interested in this field? As a teenager, I struggled with many skin care problems. I had type III acne, which is terrible red bumps and visible pimples. As gross as that sounds, it was horrible. Through high school, I was so embarrassed to be in a picture with my friends. Putting makeup on, I thought would help hide it, but it only made it more visible. I was at my breaking point after trying many topical creams that were supposed to help make this issue go away but did nothing. This is when I realized skin care is key. Playing sports and not washing my face often, the way I ate was a huge factor, and lastly not moisturizing made all the bad things even worse.

 

Lastly, I love what I do. Making women and men feel better about themselves is my end goal. We all struggle with different demons and I am here to save the day, well help with what I can!
